This Residential Limited Warranty is provided by Paxton Countertops and applies to installation services performed for residential customers.
Limited Warranty Coverage
Paxton Countertops warrants that its installation labor for Quartz, Natural Stone, Porcelain, and Solid Surface products will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
This Warranty applies only to installation services performed by Paxton Countertops.
No warranties, express or implied, are provided for materials.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
To make a claim under this Warranty:
- The customer must submit notice within the one (1) year warranty period.
- Proof of purchase and supporting documentation are required.
- Paxton Countertops will review and respond to claims within ten (10) business days.
Paxton Countertops reserves the right to approve or deny any claims at its sole discretion based on the terms outlined in this Warranty.
Warranty service will not be performed on accounts with outstanding balances.
STANDARD INDUSTRY TOLERANCES
Customer acknowledges that installation is subject to accepted industry tolerances, including minor variations in:
- Dimensions (length, depth, overhang, alignment)
- Seam placement and visibility
- Levelness and surface flatness
Variations that are not visible to the unaided eye or are only detectable by measurement tools are not considered defects.
EXCLUSIONS: CONDITIONS NOT COVERED
This Warranty does not cover:
Natural Material Characteristics
- Variations in color, veining, pattern, shading, or finish
- Pitting, fissures, mineral deposits, or surface irregularities
- Differences between samples and the installed product
Environmental & Structural Factors
- Movement, settling, or shifting of floors, cabinets, or structures
- Resulting gaps, seam separation, or misalignment
Damage After Installation
- Cracks, chips, scratches, or stains caused by impact, misuse, or neglect
- Heat damage or thermal shock
- Damage caused by improper cleaning or use of chemicals
Third-Party Work
- Issues arising from work performed by others, including but not limited to cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, or construction trades
- Improper or inadequate support structures not installed by Paxton
Seams & Fabrication Limitations
- Visibility of seams and variations in color, pattern, or finish at seams
- Minor lippage or unevenness due to material characteristics.
MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
Customers are responsible for proper care and maintenance, including:
- Use of cutting boards and heat protection
- Cleaning with appropriate, non-abrasive products
- Periodic sealing of natural stone
Failure to properly maintain surfaces may void Warranty coverage.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Paxton Countertops shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, delays, or costs related to removal or reinstallation of other materials or trades.
- Paxton Countertops’ total liability under this Warranty shall be limited to the amount paid for the installation services.
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
If a valid claim is approved, Paxton will, at its option:
- Repair the defective installation, or
- Provide a reasonable replacement or corrective service.
This shall be the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy under this Warranty.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
This Warranty constitutes the entire agreement regarding the installation warranty and supersedes all prior discussions or representations.
